Here's how it really works mechanics technicians dude I've been on short for 11 years and we tell people at Haven in this is all going to be done and and three hours you know you really hope it will get done like that but sometimes it may take another hour and a half because you never know what you may face going into the job but I wouldn't panic I just give them for hours and just go watch a movie or something or go help somebody something good

SOURCE: Replacing my CV Axles
Hi, your axles on the metro are actually called half shafts, any larger name parts house can order them for you. Call them with the Make, Year, and Model and they will take care of you. you will need to tell them, drivers side or passengers side. Hope this helps!
SOURCE: Struts and Front End Alignment for 2003 Impala 58K miles
This can be a wide ranging price. Labor prices vary, and so do parts, and needed work to align. There is no way to adequately give you a quote without looking at the car, and talking to you about the level of quality of parts you desire. I would make sure you absolutely need struts, because with 58k miles is unlikely unless you have very bad roads you've driven on. The level of quality of struts varies enormously, and so does the price. At any rate make sure you don't pay for quality parts and get cheaper quality parts. (probably the first way a disreputable shop makes ill gotten money).

These are most likely part of the accident damage. While you are fixing this double check to make sure that the axle on the side that was hit isn't bent as well. Also check the axle tubes from the differential to make sure they aren't bent either. An accident that had enough force to break a spring and bend a driveshaft is strong enough to bend the other parts as well. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Check the axle and tubes carefully and be sure. Hope this helps.
