1994 and later have a quick-connect fitting for 134a, 1993 and older have a threaded fitting, that will require an adapter to work with 134a. you should have system drawn down, and have oil replaced with ester oil if that is the case, before switching to 134a, but it will work if you dont. (just not as well)

Bypass alarm sistom on a 1995 grand prix

The VATSS system is rather easy to bypass if you know what you are doing. I suggest finding a local audio shop that installs remote start systems. They will be able to fix you up.

If check hybrid system indicate

It could have something to do with the regenerative power system.

When you apply the brake in hybrids, it redirects energy from the braking system back into the charging system.

It could have a battery issue.

The transitional system from the electric to combustion drive could have some intermittency.
But, with hybrids, you really need to have it checked out. If there is a battery problem, it could cause a lot of damage.

Sorry I could give a more solid answer.
I'd need to know more symptoms of the car while driving.

I have an '09 toyota camry and the navigation system won't work, tried to hard start the system by disconnecting the battery but it still won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think you will need to access the Nav System with a professional
scanner or scan tool & then use manufacture trouble charts, to even know what the system is supposed to do, & how to diagnose it

Hopefully a repair shop, if they want the job, otherwise blow out
your wallet at a dealer

Ho many pounds of LOW pressure refrigerant does the 2000 toyota sienna take.

If you are talking about the pounds PRESSURE (PSI), it depends on the ambient temperature. That information is what is on the dual set of gages that you see refrigeration techs using. If you are talking about the weight of the refrigerant to fully charge an empty system, there should be a sticker under the hood, near the AC system that tell you the type and how much to charge the system, it will also tell you how much and type oil to add. That all pertains to a completely empty system. The amounts specified by the Toyota are very important.
Also, you know that an empty system has to have the system purged of air and moisture, That has to be done by pumping a vacuum on the system for about an hour. That usually provides a vacuum of about 22"hg. If you have replaced a major component or have disconnected any connections you will have to do that. Knowing exactly how much oil to put into the system is a challenge unless you know that there is no oil in there now. So it take some expertise and equipment to charge a system correctly.
ALSO, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I TELL YOU AND THAT YOU KNOW THAT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO CONTINUAL RECHARGE AN AC SYSTEM THAT HAS A LEAK OF REFRIGERANT. THE LAW SAYS YOU HAVE TO CORRECT THE LEAK BEFORE YOU CHARGE THE SYSTEM.

Theft System in my 2000 Pontiac Sunfire. I bought the car used in 2002. I am not sure if the theft system is after market or not but we are having problems starting the car and think it might be the theft...

The theft system came standard on your vehicle. And YES it is a terrible system that will keep you from starting your vehicle when it begins to fail. BAD NEWS, this system is hard to diagnose and can cost you alot of money to fix. The parts are all very expensive. GOOD NEWS, It is fairly inexpensive to bypass the system and eliminate it entirely. Forever. Here is a link that explains what is going on and how to fix it yourself. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Air bag warning light came on. I brought it to the BMW dealership and said the seat belt needed to be replaced on the front passengers side. $400 plus. Thoughts? 1999 BMW 328i Sport

It is possible. The system will give codes and point them into the right direction. If it is seatbelts ( I know it seems strange) it is because they may have a charge to them, meaning that they use a sensor (to let the system know when it is latched) and when there is an accident the system deploys airbags as well as releasing a charge to retract the belts and keep you well against the seats to prevent further injury by coliding with the airbag. Replace the latch and have them reset the system. Make they know that they are telling you that this "fixes" the system not they are going to replace parts until the light goes out! Let me know.

Does anyone know how much refridgerant the aircon system on a 2005 320 diesel convertable should hold?

When servicing ac systems they are charged according to pressure. If you don't know how much refrigerant to put in i don't recommend you attempt it. The system can be damaged if it is overcharged.

AC Refridgerant

I believe you meant R-12. In a 1995 year vehicle, you do not need R-12. You will need to charge with R-134a refrigerant. If you don't have the proper equipment to recover any refrigerant that is left in the system, I would recommend you take your vehicle to a garage only for the simple reason that if you can't recover the system, you don't know how much refrigerant is already in the system and so you don't know how much to put it to fill the system- and yes, you can overfill it and cause a whole other issue, which will usually result in poor cooling and also run the risk of damaging system components. Even if you know without a doubt that the system is completely empty- such as you had it apart to replace a component- you should evacutate the system for a minimum of 30 minutes to remove any moisture in the system. Moisture reacts with the refrigerant and if trapped in the system, can eat hoses, etc from the inside-out.
