You will need an OBDII scanner to reset that light. Chances are resetting it will not keep it off. The crash sensors on that car are prone to going bad right around 5 years. My 05 Tahoe had an airbag light on because of a bad passenger side crash sensor. The light can also be caused by a bad clock spring in the steering wheel as well. You'll also need the scanner to tell you exactly what the problem is. Most auto parts stores will scan the car for free. Good luck.
You cant. its on because there is a problem. It will only go off when the system is fixed.
SOURCE: the check air bag light stays on , and a service air bag alert at info center
Sounds like the sensor is tripped due to low pressure in the compressor you have to get the unit charged and the light will go off. Or take it to a auto parts store and have them put their diagnostic code reader on their and have them clear the codes this may fix it as well
