1990 Buick Century before it broke down, ran till it warmed up and then acted like it wasn't getting fuel. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and it would run fine for a minute or two, then do it again, each time it ended by stalling out with backfiring through the air cleaner. Now it isn't getting a spark, and won't start, though it turns over just fine. Any suggestions?

Possibly an ignition module or crank sensor problem. These are the two most common stalling electronics that will cause a stall when they get warm/hot and will then continue to operate once cooled down
You'll need to figure out if you are loosing spark or fuel pressure when it stops running. I would say it is something electrical, could be anything from the ignition module to a relay.
Sounds like your fuel pump is weak so i would check the fuel pressure first. The fuel pressure should be 40-47 psi with key on and engine off and 31-44 psi with engine running. If its not within these specs then replace the fuel pump.
lock the car manually then uunlock the passenger side first then driver door this will reset the the comp, sounds like the anti-theift was trigered when fuel ran out.
