Your Pacifica 2004 has a 3.5L engine 6 cylinder, you will need six spark plug's, the spark plug gap is .050", make sure you gap the spark plug's before you install them, hope this was very helpful.

I have a 2006 pacifica misfiring in cylinder 4. How do i locate that one

Go to the auto parts store and get a tester that fits on the spark plug and on the spark plug coil and it will flash if the plug is firing. You could use a inferred thermometer and aim at the exhaust header and the cold spot is the cylinder not firing. Number 4 is the cylinder in the middle by the radiator side

Free diagram for a 2004 chrysler pacifica need to know how to change spark plugs need to know how to fix a manifold leak

You are in luck you can fix both at the same time. Disconnect battery Pull off engine cover. Remove air cleaner housing and tube. Remove speed control and accelerator cables remove every bracket from the intake manifold. Remove the ten or so screws holding the intake on Remove dipstick tube bolt. Remove any wires and hoses. Lift it off and that is where the front 3 spark plugs are. Unbolt coils on top of each spark plug and 1/2 turn and pull off. Blow or vacuum everything from the spark plug tubes. Spray penetrating oil down by the plugs and let it soak. Turn the plug a 1/2 turn then turn it back down then out then in so the threads clean themselves remember they were in there for 100,000 miles. Make sure you replace them with platinum or iridium plugs

We want to Changs spark plugs, when we take intake off is there wires to that or does it lift off without problems.

We had the same random problem. Sometimes it would do it and sometimes it wouldn't. It's an easy fix. Have the throttle assembly cleaned. You can do it yourself. That's exactly what happened with our 2004 Pacifica. I took it to the Chrysler dealership and since we have an extended warranty (bumper to bumper) it was covered. It was an easy job though. It took them about 10 mins.

When i go to change a gear the car will shut off, or if i go at slow rate of speed it sometimes wants to try to cut off.

first make sure your battery terminals are completely clean. then try changing your spark plugs and spark plug wires.

Changing my spark plugs

you can do this at home without a lift because your spark plugs are on the top of your motor, but it is a pain. i have an 05. you need to go and get yourself a manual from autozone or advance auto for a 2004 and up charger. it has the 3.5l v6 in there as well and breaks it down on what you ahve to do to change them.
