A 2002 Jaguar S-Type requires Orange-colored Motorcraft® Specialty Orange Engine Coolant, or equivalent (Dex-Cool for example), meeting Ford specification WSS-M97B44-D. Do not mix with anything else ! non ethylene glycol just means its less toxic and would actually be propylene glycol. Most people who purchase from local stores buy dex cool and dex cool is a ethylene glycol. If you purchase non ethylene you will most likely damage the vehicle. You can also order antifreeze from your jaguar dealership.
i hope you get this as i would hate to see you damage your vehicle with the wrong type of coolant

What kind and color of antifreeze should I use in my 98 chevy surburban 5.7 vor tech v8?

The color is not important, some are red and some are yellow while others are the older green standard. Your original coolant was red, it is called DEXCOOL and is sold by the dealer parts dept. If you want to use another brand any coolant labeled "Extended Life" or Long Life" coolant is ok. Most of the newer coolants blend with any type of coolant, this is not true of the OEM DEXCOOL installed by the factory.

This particular car is probably still running the green antifreeze in it. You can purchase some from prestone that will mix with all types and will not hurt the vehicle. If you are topping off the overflow bottle on fill it halfway up that way it gives it room to recirculate without overflowing.

How can I test the coolant temperature sensor on a 2003 Toyota Echo so that I can make sure whether or not it's working properly? Thanks for your kind reply.

Use a multimeter to check. unplug the sensor and replace it with multimeter. As the coolant warms you should see a voltage change. I don't know the exact figures you should see but it works on voltage change to close and open the circuit, hope it helps.
