Who posted that black smoke is from oil leaking past the rings or head???? please do not answer questions unless you actually know the fact as you are misleading people. black smoke has nothing to do with oil leaking or burning and is actually caused by overproduction of fuel or the inability to burn the fuel that is delivered. Oil smoke is white/blueish, black smoke is unburnt fuel.
