It has a relay that disables spark and fuel when a sensor on the motor detects combustion gasses in the water, this system only usually cuts in after some driving but you could have a faulty relay, Rolls are good with wire colours so follow the wire colour from the fuel pump to the relays (I had the problem with a customers 1995, rolls were unhelpful so I had to do it the hard way!)

    Hi my situation is same no fuel no spark not sure it has an immobilizer built in or not. I removed the battery for few days and changed the fuel rail hose due to leaking. After replacing it doest starts anymore but cranks. It is a Rolls Royce Silver Spur V8 with 8 coil packs fuel injection.

check your power steering pump,,,i think its packed up? if its been running very low on oil you may have burnt it out

Two things to check intitially, the fuel filter which should be on the frame, driver's side(U.S.A. models) and then the fuel pressure. On these fuel injected models, fuel pressure is critical! Start here and let me know. Once we know these are good, or bad, we can move forward.

Hi I am Vortash the pump problem you sight is pretty common with most Rollers I am afraid , wonderful workmanship lousy choice of suppliers .. seems these pumps go quite often and the best solution is replacement .. this site may be able to help you both with the type of pump you want and the best means of checking yours .. they are well known in the uk as specialists hope this is of some help regards Vortash
