Question about Infiniti Fx

Hej! I have an electrical problem: When I turn the starting key in 0 position, then the front light is still on, and I can´not find where the relays is lokated. The car Citroen Xantia 96. Best Regards Laue Madsen.

    I know very weel that there is no headlight relay. As i pointed out - Before: The headlight went
    out, when I turned the key to "0" position. Now the light is still on? And I need to switch it oof
    by the pin next to the steering Wheel. Everything else is working perfect.
    Don´t charge mee futher.

Hi! There are no headlight relays on xantias. It's just a fuse going to the headlight vise versa. YOu may want to check on grounded or wounded wires on this. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

The bulb check system in Mercedes is very sensitive to ( bulb watt ) I am sure there is problem with the headlight bulb it self also the parking light bulbs, I advise you to change the bulbs, this will sort out the problem.

How do i reset the service light on a 2001 mercedes E240
i dont know if the procedure works the same as the c-class but try the following
turn electronic key to position 2 in the ignition lock and immediately press button 0 (the 0 you would use to put the trip odometer to zero) twice within 1 second
turn electronic key back to postion 0 in ignition lock
then press and hold 0 button turn key to position 2 keep 0 button pressed after 10 second beep sound will be heard then release 0 button should reset service time

I need the correct picture diagram on spark plug placement in a 1987 chevy R10 with v8 engine. I put new spark plugs on the way its suppose to for theat model and not the way it was already on there, not...
It's easy to have that problem if someone else installed the distributor incorrectly. In relaity, any one of the cap towers can be used as #1. Turn the engine 'till the timing mark on the front balancer aligns with "0" on the timing scale. With the valve covers on, you can't tell if you are 180 out of phase or at TDC though but if the rotor points towards the firewall, chances are you are 180 off. (In that case, turn the pulley one more turn back to "0" and see where the rotor points. Wherever it is, that is the #1 wire position. Clockwise on the cap the order is 18436572 The cylinders are (front to back) 1357 on the drivers side and 2468 on the passenger side. If you have not turned the distributor, the engine timing should be good. If not, turn the distributor counter clockwise to advance. Use a timing light to get it perfect.

How to erase the maintenance light
depending on why it was turned on. Honda had designed the car to come on every 15,000 miles To reset your maintenance light, follow this procedure

Odometer reset button procedure

  1. Turn the key to the II position (but not to III, or START)
  2. Turn the key to the 0 (OFF) position, then push -- and hold -- the trip odometer reset button
  3. Turn the key back to the II position, while still holding the button
  4. After about 10-15 seconds, the light should go off
  5. Release button and turn key to 0.
If the light comes right back on withing 20 minutes then you would need a required maintenance

Electrical problem headlights, radio does not stay on when ignition off
RE: Radio

If you mean the radio doesnt retain the memory presets and clock when you shut the car off or turn the key to the 0 position

that could mean that the yellow wire was not connected to the red or hot/positive lead when the radio wiring harness was connect

if this worked before and now it does check the main fuse box
also some radios have a inline fuse connected on the radio wiring harness (behind radio so you'll have to remove it to check, same thing with checking that the yellow wier is connected)

not sure what you mean by "electrical problem headlights"
some cars shut off the electrical current to the head lights (only power to running/park lights) when the ignition is shut off or the key is at position 0

The car doesn´t start the battery is ok fuees ok
Do you have any check engine lights on? Is your anti-theft light flashing? If so, put key in igniton, turn to on (NOT START) leave in on position for EXACTLY 10 MINUTES
As SOON as theft light turns off, try to start.

There is a problem with your key.

Lexus RX350 Reset Maintenance required light
PRESS AND HOLD IN THE TRIPOMETER RESET BUTTON. WITH IT IN, TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE. THE DISPLAY WILL COUNT DOWN IN HASH MARKS FROM 6 TO 0. AFTER IT REACHES 0 RELEASE THE TRIPOMETER RESET, TURN THE KEY TO THE OFF POSITION. ONCE YOU RESTART THE LIGHT SHOULD BE OFF.

Since I can't get a straight answer out of anyone and infinitis seem to be this freaking mysterious unfixable thing, I got one last question. I have an 04 Infiniti i35. It's in lockdown mode. I absolutely refuse to go to the dealer. I've hired a locksmith at the tune of $240, he came out, made a new key and it started like 5-7 times and then lockdown , called the guy back and he did it again for another $100, same thing, 5-7 times and lockdown. I have bought a ton of little things to do it somehow myself. I believe I have the right combination now. I bought a reprograming kit and have watched the YouTube videos, though none are of Infiniti, anyways, one good one said to look for the ic900 chip in my ecu, said it was standard on most ecm's, but again, we're talking about Infiniti now, so of course not... I have magnified, combed over with a fine tooth comb and even taken close pics and magnified those and found no such chip. Can anyone please tell me what the equivalent of my cars chip is. Supposedly a 6 or 8 leg chip

Need to find fuse for brake light for 2002 Infiniti I35... brake lights coming on all the time and drain battery. Must be electrical problem because pedal switch completely bypassed. Brake lights coming on all the time. Thought it was the pedal pad being broken but lights come on even with pedal switch removed from circuit so it is being bypassed. Apparently no fuse for this circuit, MFG may have installed nonremovable fusible link in harness instead. Will have to remove all lightbulbs in tail section and rear window light to be able to charge battery and be able to move the car. YouTube video said to look for 15 amp fuse labeled STOP L. which doesn't exist on my car. Would also like insight on just how the switch is being bypassed for the braking system. No burnt parts of odors. Only use car 1-2 x a week so I don't want to spend hundreds of $$$$$$ having to hunt down ghosts with the electrical system. I ride a bike most of the time so the car is only on rainy days and when I have to carry stuff.
