Yes. you can program any number. put the key in the ignition push the lock button on your keyfob, pull th key out while holding down the lock button and press the unlock button 5 times. Your key is now reset and ready for use

    would you need a new blank fob to reprograme it copying the steps you have comented? i have E300 AVANTGARDE MERCEDES BENZ, i want to make my own copy i only have 1 working key. any suggestion please, i tired of getting ripped of at the oficial dealers in spain.

SOURCE: Mercedes Benz 2002 C Class 180. Key fob batteries

You have to seperate the front of the fob casing by sliding or prising at the side this will then reveal the batteries. You can get replacement batteries from most garages or your MB dealer (who will probably fit them as well)

How can i reprogram a mercedes slk r170 key fob to my car
If it is a new key or replacement only the dealer can do it. if it is one of the original keys that stopped working then place it in the ignition and press the lock button 5 times in about 5 seconds, then press and hold down the unlock button. Withdraw the key and try it.

hi this sounds like the fob may need to be reprogrammed this will deppend on the type of key fob you have either a flip key type one or the push in the hole type one if its the push in the hole one, this can only be reset at the main dealer, if it is the flip key type one i may be able to give you the instructions to try and reprogram it to work...hope this helps

My 1998 mercedes ml320 starts for 1or 2 seconds and then stalls.
You either have to replace the battery in your key fob or have it reprogrammed. Verify this by trying the second key, if you have it. AAA told me that you can reprogram it by leaving it in the ignition, with the key turned to the first position, overnight. I haven't tried it.

Reprogramming key fob after changing the battery
were talking about the key fob battery.right?? try holding both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time while pointing the key fob at dashboard/drivers side door area.give it at least 10-20 seconds and see if that resets it.

Neither of 2 standard fobs works
try
sit in the car
point remote at the mirror ir sensor (1995)
press remote twice and within 30 second
insert key and turn to drive position
if you don't havemirror mounted ir sensors
point at your sensor location
