It is the automatic load leveler that pumps air into the back shocks to level the car so it rides better when there are lots of people or weight in it. it is in the frontof the car opposite the battery, just disconnect it. had the same problem on my 1990 olds 98.

Ether the battery is bad,or there is something pulling the battery down when the vehicle is off.Like a clock,or the alternator, you can pull fuses to find the problem if you have a test light, you can find the problem,If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

1990 Oldsmobile 98 just stops running after pulling off fires back up

Does the service engine stay on after you have restarted the vehicle? If so connect a scanner to see what codes come up. Could be as simple as an idle adjustment.

In cold weather my 1989 Oldsmobile 98 won't start

Ours did that and in real cold weather could not boost it. Replaced the spark plugs and plug wires and no trouble since. Depends when the plugs were replaced before. If you replace the wires take one off at a time and replace it with a new one. Some people take them all off at once then they are in trouble.

Where are the bolts to remove a starter 1990 oldsmobile regency 98?

There are only 2 bolts. They go straight up through the starter motor housing into the engine block. You may have some plastic covers that go around the starter and flywheel area that will need to be removed to get to them.
