I HAVE A 2001 MODEL WRX EJ20 WITH AN INTERMITANT SPARK FAULT,PROBLEM STARTS WITHIN APPROX 30 SECONDS AFTER START UP,FEELS LIKE A MISSFIRE,IF I TAKE ONE OF THE COILPACKS OUT YOU CAN SEE THE SPARK GET WEAKER WHEN IT PLAYS UP BEFORE STALLING,HAVE HAD THE ECU,THE 4 COIL PACKS,CHECKED THEY HAVE SAID THEY ARE OK,ALSO FITTED NEW CAM AND CRANK SENSORS STILL NO GOOD, NOT SETTING ANY CODES,HAVE ALSO HAD AN ELECTRICIAN LOOK AT THE CAR NOT SURE WHERE TO GO FROM HERE,ANY IDEAS?

From all the things you have said and done are you sure that it is spark related and not possibly fuel related. Change the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure.

Most likely none are related to the computer. Surging idle is often a sign of a vacuum leak and can cause random misfires. Vacuum leak would also cause hesitation. Sensor heater can be a fuse, wiring or bad sensor. What's the window doing?
