I have a 2004 Toyota corolla. The back light on the clock fades out for no apparent reason. It maintains the correct time. Is there a bulb that needs to be replaced or how can it be fixed?

Opaque lens should "pop" and access to festoon bulb (usually 10w) . If other functions are down ie; time clock, radio ,, it might be a blown fuse. The bulb is a specific lenght and should be replaced with equivelant. . Good luck

The fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp) in the box under the dash by the steering wheel also powers your cigarette lighter and radio also powers the clock. Check to make sure that the 15 amp TAIL fuse, the 15 amp DOME fuse and the 15 amp CIG fuse are all good. If you have taillamps that light, a dome light that lights, and the cigar lighter works, you need to replace the clock.
