Make sure the blower runs, then make sure the heat and ventilation control doors move as they should. If you have hot coolant flowing through the heater core, air flow through the core, and appropriate air flow path, then you will have heat.
Thanks but have ensured all of that works except is their a seperate heat door, as all vent doors open fan is a ten speed with heaps of blow power and water is very hot, ford have been unable to sujest any thing else and allready spent heaps with them, but they cant tell me if their is a separate heat door or something i cat see??
There are four doors. You should check the temperature blend door, which is third from the left, and actuated either by a cable (manual heat/AC) or an electric motor (electronic climate control). The other three doors are vacuum operated.
Thank you again have just opened up heater core suround and found that the core is stone cold to touch even though both pipes in/out are red hot so guess their is a block in the core but still letting water flow through pipes. Will have to pull dash out then see if i can get the core out. Not looking forward to this one!
