Well gents did quick search for this and found nothing so here it goes...

The slightest leak can pop the codes.

You have a lean fuel condition.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs i would change the fuel filter and fuel pump.

are the codes p0171 and p0174? p0171 system too lean (bank #1) p0174 system to low ( bank # 2) o2 sensors will go in pairs.

P174 means Oxygen sensor was slow in switching Single, Right or Rear HO2S - Fuel control

P171 means Oxygen sensor not switching - system was at adaptive limits - Single, Right or Rear HO2S - Fuel control

More likely it's the intake manifold gasket leaking. They can become flat and **** air in passed the gasket, causing a lean condiiton.

Normally you can disconnect the battery for a few minutes and this does the trick. If the light comes back on, you may need to read the codes again. And, if it faults the MAF...you know it is not that and may be something else.
