1998 Mustang GT sat for over 2 years. 1/4 tank of fuel. Went to drive it and wont run off idle and dies on idle, won't start. Replaced Fuel pump, Fuel filter, Put in fresh gas with octane booster and ran codes. Came up with codes: P0171, P1151, P1131, P0174, P0102, P1507, P1000, P1100, P1260. Most have to do with Fuel to Lean, Bank 1 and Bank 2. Where do I go now??

83 ford mustang sat for two years now won't start

The fuel system is most likely gummed up from bad gasoline, flush the entire system, replace the fuel pump and the filter as well. Add a can of CHEMTOOL to the gas tank to help dissolve the varnish.

95 mustang gt 5.0 takes a wile to start, now driving this am the car just died turns overbut wont start, waited a wwile tried to start again it started and ran for 8 seconds or so and died again! any help...

check your fuel pressure... sounds like your fuel pump might be dying (happens to most it seems) or have a clogged filter sock. Pumps are cheap but a pain because you have to lower the tank down. I suggest keeping your tank near E until this clears up in case you have to lower it.

1998 sts wont start unless u hit the gas then it runs rough ..u put it in drive it wont run over 2000 rpms then it dies

Is the gas tank above 1/2 tank now?

A worn / aged fuel pump will fail when it's hot and the fuel level is low (example: below 1/4)

Park your car in a cool area.

Start the car when it's cold outside,

Check the engine fuel pump pressure.

Replace the fuel pump relay, fuel filter, fuel pump and fuel pump stainer at the same time.

1998 gmc 2500 sle 5.7 wont stay running

Theres only one fuel pump relay, unless you have dual tanks. Be sure you have 55-60 psi fuel pressure. I "think" the oil pressure switch supplies power to the fuel pump after the engine is running.

I would recommend having the TPS sensor checked as that is the first cause for rough idles and stalls...

1990 F150 Fuel pump just replaced but wont turn on

Replace the fuel pump relay. And if your truck has dual tanks there's three fuel pumps, one in each tank and another secondary fuel pump.

Dies after running about 2 minutes

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.
