I have a 2002 chev venture (3.4L) that won't start. No warning signs that there was a problem. I had the van out earlier in the morning and it started great. When I went out a few hours later turned the key and nothing....not even a click. There is plenty of power coming from the battery as the radio, power windows, horn, and head lights all come on. When I try to start with the head lights on they do not dim. The dash indicator lights also will not come on when I turn the key to the on position although the radio lights will. I have tried starting it in neutral and still nothing. I tried by-passing the starter and it turned over but would not start. Any ideas you have for me would be great!!
Thanks

A common cause of a constant draw on the battery when switched off is the satnav system searching for satelite communication because the BCM has not powered it off correctly.
Evaporative Emission Vent System Performance. the emissions system on these ventures suck! good luck. It basically means the fumes aren't going where they are supposed to be going and if you live in a county or state that requires emissions testing, it will not pass until you get it fixed. other than that you probably wont see any other problems, you might smell gas but like i said those are just fumes not going to the right place.
could be the neutral switch try and crank it while moving the shifter around also try and put power to the small terminal on the starter that will tell you if the starter is bad or the wiring or switches
disconnect the fuel line at the fuel rail and have someone try to start the car if you get fuel coming out then you know the pump is fuctioning and it is a injector problem or fuel pressure regulator issue, or possibly something totally unrelated. if you do not get fuel check the fuel pump relay and fuse.
Do you have a small wire connected with your neg. battery post This wire is a ground that grounds your car . , May have come lose when replaced battery. Not all cars have these i really don't know for sure on yours but is sure the place i would start. May even try hooking up a wire from battery " the black cable" And hold it to the car's frame to check good luck on this sorry not be more help.
