I can't locate the hazard flasher fuse on my 87 F-150.

Application: Hazard
The Flasher is located: Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, behind lower dash panel, mounted on rear of fuse block

Application: Turn signal
The Flasher is located: Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, under dash, mounted in upper left corner of fuse panel

I SEEN FLASHER IN THE EARLY MODELS VECHICLES IN THE EARLY 70S AND EARLY 80S VECHICLES IN THE FUSE BOX ITS A ROUND METAL LOOKING RELAY HAS 2 PRONGS IN IT.LOOK UNDER YOUR DASH LEFT OF THE STEERING COLUMN.

SOURCE: location of flasher for turn signal

Access the COMBINATION Turn Signal and Hazard INDICATOR FLASHER on the Left-Hand (drivers) side of the instrument panel in the fuse junction panel.

Remove turn signal flasher/hazard indicator flasher by pulling indicator flasher straight out.

To install, align the terminals of the flasher and press into place.

The flasher is a small round plastic cylinder (unless replaced with a metal one) behind the left edge of the glove box that will look similar to the one in the fuse panel. The first step is to squeeze gently both sides of the open glove box and let it swing downward. It will be snapped into a metal horizontal brace just to the left of the glovebox opening by a small tab and have two wires attached. The number more than likely will be a #552 although I have seen a factory one with a Warner #224

My turn signals won't come on at all?

check the fuse if good then turn on the hazard lights if they work then you probably need a turn signal flasher which is a separate flasher unit then the hazard one.it usually looks like the hazard one so with the hazards on and locate it then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and you will also know not to change the wrong flasher unit.the signal flasher is often located at or near the under dash fuse panel or somewhere in the dash you don`t say what type of car your talking about.

How to fix turn signal on 86 Chevy Astro Van

you don`t say but do the lights work either on the front/back on both sides.if not then it may be a fuse that needs replacing or need a bulb replacement.if the lights work but don`t flash then it sounds like a signal flasher problem.the flasher is located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.if the hazard flashers work then turn them on to find the hazard flasher by the fuse panel then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and change the signal flasher.make sure you change the one for the signals and not the hazard one.if the hazards work then i would say the signal switch is good as the hazards work through the same switch.

I have a Frontier XE 2001. Niether turn signal works have good bulbs and fuses are OK. Where else should I look.

did both signal lights stop working at the same time or not,it may just be the signal flasher has gone bad,it is located under the dash by the fuse panel.if the hazard flashers work then i would say the signal flasher is bad.with the hazards on you can locate it and that is what the signal flasher looks like and it is a separate flasher,

Flashers and Relays REPLACEMENT Pickups The hazard warning flasher, on the pickup, is located to the left of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured by a clamp and one screw. To remove it, simply unplug the electrical connector, loosen the screw, and slide the flasher out of the clamp. The turn signal flasher is located to the right of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured in the same way as the hazard flasher. The turn the signal relay is located to the immediate right of the hazard flasher, and is secured by two screws. To remove it, unplug the electrical connector and remove the screws. MPV The relays and flashers are located under the dash, near the fusebox. Navajo Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are mounted on the fuse panel on the truck. To gain access to the fuse panel, remove the cover from the lower edge of the instrument panel below the steering column. First remove the two fasteners from the lower edge of the cover. Then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel. The turn signal flasher unit is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, and the hazard warning flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel.

Fix a flasher

Replacement The turn signal flasher is located under the dash either to the left or right of the steering column on most models. The lower dash panel may have to be removed to gain access to the unit. The hazard flasher is located in the fuse block.On 1980 and later models, both the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are located at the lower left hand and the upper right hand corners of the fuse block respectively. Remove these by pulling them from their connectors.

Haz flashers wont work but blinkers do

There are 2 seperate flashers 1 for turn signals and 1 for hazard.The hazard flasher is located in the convenance center the turn flasher in the fuse box. Also seperate fuse's for each. One battery circuit for hazard Ignition for turn signals.Check fuse for hazard,if good try swapping in the turn signal flasher and see if hazards work.They use the same flasher unit.

I cant locate the flash fuse in my 2000 oldsmobile intrigue, i have been having problems with my indicator and hazard lights because they dnt turn on. What do i do?

The flasher is built into the hazard switch and the fuse is in the fuse box. it's the hazard fuse.

The turn signal and the hazard switch use the same flasher.
