Would my 97 olds cutlass supreme 4dr car be a 4 or 6 cyl? I'm a woman owner who doesn't know.

If you do not have an owners manual, you may try searching for one. There are no Oldsmobile Owners Manuals offered on the GM web site any longer. You will surely not find one for any 20-year-old vehicle there. You will have to search places like classic parts.com to find what you are looking for.

The best way to tell is get someone to push break slowly and see which one brake fluid comes out of first. That will be the front brakes

5W30 for all temperatures, 10W30 for above 0*F.

Capacity is 5 qts. without filter change. Add extra oil when replacing filter.
I suggest adding in increments of 1/4 qt. (4oz.)at a time until "full" is indicated on the dipstick.

ABS & brake light lit on the instrument cluster ? DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the EBCM - electronic brake control module . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop .

replaced brake light switch under dash, if you don't know how to test don't do anything !

might not want to hear this but sounds like a head gasket,check the oil also if the oil is creamy like a light color this is probably the problem

It is probably just as easy and just as cheap to replace the caliper itself then tearing it apart to fix the seal.

it must be over heating there might be the fuse or the machine damaged through which must causing not to show over heating sign blink on or just on.

Disconnect the battery to do any service on the steering column or front radiator areas.
