Rockauto on the internet, I looked up spindle nut, it showed 34 mm.
I can't guarantee that is correct. Hopefully the autostore isn't too far away so if you get the wrong size socket just take it back and switch it.
In the past, I was changing out halfshaft on different vehicle, bought a new socket for old spindle nut. Turns out the spindle nut on the new/rebuilt halfshaft was a different size, I was not happy.
check the front of the hub assembly, just to double check and see if there is a cap on it with a crown nut behind it. It should not be stuck to the spindle at all and this is the most likely cause. If there is a crown nut there, there will be a cotter pin you have to remove to take the nut off.
if you replace the rotor you shouldnt have to take the spindle nut off,if you are talkin about the lug nuts then they are 7/8" standard or 22mm metric,and the torque on those are 140 ft lbs.the rotor might just be rusted on,a good whack with a hammer after the caliper and caliper bracket have been removed should get it loose for you,hope this helps
Remove axle nut that goes thru your hub and rotor,seperate the strut and spindle by removing the 2 nuts and bolts at base of strut,pull spindle towards you force outside of axle out of hub and pop out the axle at the transmisson some fluid may come out. reverse proceedure to install and top off your trans.
