My radiator cooling fans will not run.

Check the fan relay. The fans will only come on at a certain engine temp.

I REPLACED WATER PUMP, FAN CLUTCH, TOOK OUT THERMOSTAT, REPLACE RADIATOR CAP, TOOK RADIATOR TO GET CLEANED AND STILL OVERHEATS WHATS THE PROBLEM

about the only thing left is that the engine block & head may be blocked, also check that the radiator hoses have not gone soft & flatten, especially the bottom one, because you have done everything else that can be done, at worse it could be a blown head gasket......hope this helps.......cheers.

Why is my 91 3.1 v6 oldsmobile cutlass supreme over heating?

hello anthony, several things could be causing your cutlass to overheat, The overall condition of your cooling system must be properly maintained for optimum cooling. The thermostat has to open fully at the correct temp. to allow coolant to be circulated through the block. Radiator fins, inside and must be clean and not restricted. The water pump and the fan clutch need to be fully operational. A clean mixture of 50/50 coolant to water filled to capacity is important. All cooling system hose in good shape and not kinked or restricted. Fan belts properly adjusted and not slipping---All this plays a part in keeping your engine running cool....If you haven't serviced your cooling system, i suggest you do so and replace the thermostat. I hope this information helps, good luck with your Cutlass.

94 cutlass supreme is overheating, all fluids are fine. I did have someone tell me i need 3 motor mounts replaced. could this be an issue of the car overheating?

Over heating can be caused by a faulty thermostat and or weak water pump and dirty radiator and old antifreeze or the radiator fan now working when at idle but should not over heat when driving. Service the cooling system if it has never been serviced before. Replace the thermostat, buy some radiator flush to clean out the radiator and heater core. Just follow the instruction and replace the antifreeze and make sure it's a 50/50 mix water/antifreeze. If you not sure how to mix it 50/50 you can buy them 50/50 premixed. Water boils at 100'C so you need antifreeze mixed with it but antifreeze does not have the same heat transfer as water so you cannot run 100% antifreeze cause it does not transfer heat fast enough and you over heat. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, Be glad to help, once you service the cooling system and your still over heating, then we look at the water pump.

Water pump

To replace the water pump on this is very easy. Remove the belt, unbolt the pulley and remove it. Then unbolt the water pump mounting bolts it is that easy. Please rate.
