The fuel pump is in the gas tank, so you will need to first lower the gas tank to get to it. The gas tank is accessed from below the car. The pump and sending unit are mounted together. Remove circular locking ring on top of tank and the unit can be removed. Let me know how this works out for you. Benjamin
you cut the fuel line under the bonnet and fit a inline filter its easier than messing around ,the fuel filter is underneath the vehicle by the fuel tank and unless its corroded away leave well alone ,also in the bottom of the pick up pipe is a gauze filter as well if car is running ok then leave well alone providing the metal casing on the one underneath is ok then they should last forever unless you have used fuel from a rust can ,all fuel pumps have a micronic filter on the pump so you shouldnt get a problem unless you have a metal fuel tank ???
The starter for this vehicle is located nearest the radiator and attatched to the bellhousing. If you need step by step instructions and pics, email me at [email protected]
