Sounds like the Oxygen sensor in the exhaust may not be working effectively. Check the connections and wiring running to it. The Oxygen sensor only starts to work when hot so be careful. The sensor outputs a pulse of voltage when the engine is running. If the voltage output is steady then it needs replacing.
that's the o2 sensor code. it should say catalyst efficiency. you either need to replace one of your o2 sensors ($52 at autozone), or it could be your catalytic converter.
214 is out of spec ,it will not pass an inspection here in spain thats for sure .Must be lower than 2 .Only soloution i know off is to change the cat and the oxygen sensor ,and not forgotting to take the air filter out for the test
have you changed the ignition wires? perhaps firing order crossed? if not coil pack or ignition wires faulty how do you know it is not "FIREING" on 1 & 4 have you tested it with a spark tester tool???
