How do I get the old shocks off. I can get the two bolts off at the top, but how do I get the lower end off the ball? I don't want to completely remove the top brack bolts as I am not sure if I can get the bottom off! The shocks are too stiff to compress, so how do you get the new ones on? Thanks for your advice!
Use a small flat screwdriver and pry the metal clamp
Off halfway, then pop the ball out..cheers..you fan also use utube depending on make, model..
You should be able to find a video on yout YouTube hope this helps Merry Christmas

Clunking noise in the rear of the vehicle is a broad statement. When is the vehicle doing it? Is it all the time or just over bumps? Is it happening only going around curves? Is it a constant bump that speeds up and slows down with the vehicle speed. You would be supprised how many clunking noises can come from the driveline not the suspension. It could be anything from a bushing to your rear differential getting ready to grenade.

You will have to remove the rear seat.Go to the bottom cusion in the front and yank it up,about a foot in from the outside on each side.Once it out there are some bolts on the bottom of the back rest cusion remove those and push it up and remove. Then you cen get to three nuts on each strut top.
