How to open the door frame of a 94 Saturn SL1, my window is off track and am trying to fix it but cant seem to get the door apart all the way

take the door panel off and see if glass is on track. also see why arms are not moving u may need to replace the frame

If you have a door window that works, then the problem with the other doors is in the motor or wiring to that motor. There is only one circuit breaker and one relay to all the door windows.

Reccommended air pressure varies with tire makers. Your best bet will be look on the sidewall of
your tires, it will be stamped along with weight limits.

the best part about having a Saturn is that you don't need to. have a look and your going to remove the outside panel around the door. the one that's painted the color of the car. the panels in thees are easily replaced and removed and this will allow access to windows. (kinda crazy and different than any other make but Saturn knows what makes seance and did it well.

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the linkage on the inside of the door came off the handle, let a glass repair shop fix it.

i owned a 91 saturn and they are notorious for window motors going bad i"ve had to change out both....just be lucky its stopped up and not down.
But i do remember once that a bolt had fallen loose off on of the tracks it might be as simple as that...either way the door panel has to come off and be gentle with it or the plastic locks will break.

towards the back of the door is a short track that runs left to right. there should be a nut either loose or missing on this track. put loctite on the stud, then put the nut back on. do this AFTER the window is back on track.

Yes. I have fixed my driver side window several times. The window went all the way down and came off the track, usually because the window automatically went all the way down. The first step was to take the interior side of the door off: (1) I unscrewed the screws around the door and pull the plastic screws out. (2) I disconnected the thin metal rod that connects the door handle to the door frame to be able to pull the interior part of the door away from the metal frame of the door. (3) I unscrewed the speaker to see where the window meets the rubber track. (4) I kept the electrical wires connected so that I could use the electric window button to lower and raise the window. (5) I lowered the window down below the rubber track and loosened the screw holding the rubber track to the door. (6) I manually adjusted the rubber track around the window glass and pressed the electric window button up slowly, making sure the glass stayed on the track. (7) I put everything back in place, screwed in the screws, etc. Be careful not to let the window go all the way down, because it seems to fall off the track at that point. Hope this helps!
