Where are the spark plugs located at on the 2000 Mazda MPV 2.5l engine

There is a coil pack on top of the engine with 6 black pulg wires coming out. The spark plugs are at the other ends of those 6 wires. You have to pull the boots up off the plugs to see them.

2001 expediction change spark pulgs

The spark plugs are located in the valve covers dwon in wells under the individual ignition coils,(8 of them), the coils have a 2 wire connector going to them, careful unlatch the connector lock and remove the connector male end, then remove the on 8mm machine screw that retains each coil to the valve cover stand off, only do one at a time, twist the coil back and forth to break the bond of the rubber boot to the spark plug insulator and gently pull up while you do this, DO NOT FORCE IT or you will have to replace the coil assembly to get a new boot. The job takes about 2-3 hours.

I have a 2000 crown victoria n my check engine light came on and I got it read and it says cylinder 3 misfire. What could it be.

If you have coil on plug (which is each spark plug has it's own little individual coil sitting on top of it with a spark plug boot connecting it to the spark plug) the coil has most likely gone bad. Cost about $45 for a new one. Before buying this make sure the connections to that coil is fully seated and wiring has not broken anywhere especially at the connector.

There is a misfire in my engine, changed plugs & wires. now it reads that the fuel leveling sensor is bad, will this help?

If there is a misfire, the cylinder that it is misfiring in will be recorded as a code in the computer.

Have the car scanned to determine which cylinder is bad. Then, replace the coil pack going to that cylinder.
