Tires are flat, stickers on the door are gone, so how much psi should I put in my tires?

If there the standerd tires and wheels it should be at 32 psi cold

because it is a low profile tire with a wide tread , the 30 psi is a recommended pressure for a standard size tire
however at 30 psi you will probably find that it will wear with an under inflated wear pattern and the 40 psi is used to sit the tread flat on the road
best talk with a good tire shop as they have experience and reports form a vast range of customers who talk about the pressures they run to get the best wear from the tires
the tires I run are standard and the recommended pressure is 32 psi but the make of tire actually runs best on 38 psi and that comes from the tire manufacturer

Look on the side of the tire, there are lots of numbers, one of them will be the max tire pressure in psi or kPa. For the correct tire pressure for your car, there should be a sticker on the drivers side door jamb. If the sticker is missing, put 5 psi LESS than max number you found on the sidewall of the tire.

I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum with the 3.5ho engine and 18" wheels with 225 60R 18 tires. What is the correct tire pressure. My door sticker is gone and the owners manuel tell you to refere to the door...
I would run between 32 and 34 psi

open your drivers side door. you should see a sticker there with the information you need. sometimes they put the sticker in the glove compartment

Correct tire air pressure
On the driver door opening decal the recommened tire pressures if not there its in the rear door opening and it's in the owers manuel under tires. The kind of whells or options need to be obserbed as the differt options may have different recomended pressures and the rear may have a different than the fornt if all the stickers are gone and the owers manuel is too 32 PSI is a safe best bet some 50 or 45 series tires need as much as 45PSI never put more pressure in the tire than what it says on the sidewall but the maximun pressure is safe but might not give the best ride quailty

No. The pressure listed on the tires is the MAXIMUM safe tire pressure. Set at that level, your vehicle will bounce like a ball whenever it hits the slightest bump. Check the driver's door and door post. One of them will have a sticker that lists the factory tire size and recommended pressure. The sticker pressure is the comfort setting. For increased fuel mileage, inflate your tires to 4 to 6 psi above the sticker number.

Look on the driver door or the pillar for the driver door. However as a store manager for a tire store I advised people to look the the tires you have on the car. The recommended pressure for the vehicle is with the tires the car came with. Some of the high performance tires take 40 or more PSI and if you set it to the vehicle pressure you will be running the tires too low. Look on the side wall of the tire. near the rim there will be a box with tire pressure max Set the tires about 3-4 PSI lower because as you drive the tires heat up and that will increase the pressure. If you under-inflate the tires the outside tread will prematurely wear, if you over inflate the tires the inner tread will wear out before the outer and you will loose traction. Hope this helps.

make sure that the tires are the ones on sticker for the psi other sizes require a different psi ask a tire store for the correct psi

Tire pressure optimization setting
Look for a sticker on the drivers door panel. It will tell you what pressure to set for the tires. The owners manual may also contain this information. It is normal for a radial tire to look a little flat.
