Hello, welcome to FIxYa.

The OD Off light has been activated by someone moving the small square button on the side of the shifter. This button allows the OD to engage, or is prevented (OD Off). To rectify this, depress the button on the side of the shifter.

I hope that my assistance proves beneficial to you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

What does a amber triangle light with DTC mean

Hi the DTC is dynamic traction control. If the light is on constantly you need to get the car diagnosed. It could be a wheel sensor. If it only flashes occasionally it indicates wheel spin. Hope this helps. Jim...

I have an intermittent problem with my 2006 For Fusion. At times when I first start it the high beam light is on the check oil light is on and the Emergency brake light is on and I cannot put it into gear....

OK, I have not heard of this sort of issue before, however, on first start-up, a modern car (ABS, ECU/M, EFI etc.) goes through a "light test" on the dashboard system which is controlled by the ECM so that you (or the tech) can see if there is a blown bulb, that test sequence MAY prevent the brake pedal interlock from working at once, although I don't see that happening.
The first thing I would suggest that you do is go to a local auto parts store in your area (eg;Autozone, O'Reilley's, etc) and ask them to read off the codes stored in the computer and then go from there.
If this were a 90's chevy small truck. I would have said to look for the common ground bolt under the dash and re-tighten it as that can cause the turn signal indicators to not "flash" while allowing the signals themselves to work, also that MAY cause the other dash lights/ gauges to light up or malfunction intermitantly.

hope this helped!

The blue light pops on and off..it looks like an anchor in water,. Im thinking its the oil light but im not sure

I would suggest that the blue light looking like an anchor would be a low water indicator. Check your radiator reservoir bottle and make sure it is full.

Faulty warning light

You will see a switch with a wiring connector plugged into the radiators side tank at the right side. That is the low coolant switch

What is the 5 chime, cycling 5 times, then off? comes on after I start the car. Thanks, Jim

Is your airbag light on or not working? does your seatbelt light work? do you wear your seatbelt? This type of chime usually indicates a problem in the SRS system. (safety restraint system) Assuming 5 chime pause 5 chime pause and continues for 5 cycles and then stops.

Right turn signal won't work after replacing bulb 2004Range Rover

I've had the same problem. It is the actual socket that the bulb plugs into - it is defective. Try removing the light unit and turning the bulb a bit (with the indicator on) and you'll see that it will slow down once it makes contact. Very annoying!!!! RR should have had that fixed ages ago. May need new socket.

Gear shift light indicator

Is the indicator on the floor or on the dash?I know there was a wiring problem where the wires for it would rub through on the ac accumulator that is located under the air cleaner box.
