OK, check the voltage or connection at the VSS (Vehicel Speed Sensor) on the transmission. It has wires leading to it.
If this is ok, then check that the wiring is not broken to the computer.
If this is ok, then check that the Speedometer is functioning or not along with the Odometer. If the Odometer is not functioning along with the Speedometer, you likely have a bad connection to the sensor.
If the Odometer functions, but the Speedometer does not function, then I would think the gauge is bad, which requires pulling the instrument panel out/dashboard.

Make sure all wires to the transmission are connected. From there, change out the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) On the transmission's tailshaft. If it's still not working, you need to open up the dash and make sure it's all well connected.
