SOURCE: I just replaced the fuel

Unhook your battery for a 15 minutes and reconnect it.And then try.Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery resets the system and this resets the anti theft device too.-------- Another thing are you using right key for your car.If there are 2 keys try both keys one by one. But if this not reseting the device then it has to be done by a scan tool at ford dealer. They will reset the system as well as reset /reprogram the car key too.At dealer they charge approx $35 for this resetting. Its their service charge. This antitheft light starts flashing,if the vehicle detects there is parts replaced, without disconnecting battery or car got open with key or by non -programmed key.And this problem is faced by many other ford users too.In some case battery reset helps in other cases the car needs to be reset by scan tool at dealer.----------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

2000 Ford Expedition 5.4 liter. How do I bypass the anti theft security system. I have tried to reset it, and checked all fuses but nothing.

Question edited for clarity and spelling of model.
Question moved to model category.

Short answer is you can't. The Ford PATS system is very complex and designed to stop exactly what you are trying to do. ECM, BCM, PATS Module and sensors all there to prevent theft.

Turn the ignition off, and press the brake pedal. Turn the ignition on and off three times, on the third turn leave the ignition running. Press and release the brake pedal, and then turn the ignition off. Repeat these steps again for a second time.

Truck wont start son was playing with the security system and now it wont start

Hello you will need to head in to your ford dealership your vehicle is in anti theft mode you will need proof of ownership the dealer will provide a unlock code each vehicle is equipped with it's own serial numbers their for each car is appointed it's own anti theft code but will charge usually $35.00 or $65.00.This is the only solution available to you.

I have dealt with this before and it was the key and it needed the key reprogrammed as you said you were told and it will require the Ford scan tool do set it up.I know it sucks but disableing it I dont believe is an option.
