Based on what you said, either the compressor clutch is shorted or the wiring is crossed somewhere.

I have a 1990 Buick Electra, the 25 amp fuse keep blowing which is for the air conditioning. Any suggestions?

check the wiring for rubbing through under the hood for the a/c compressor, then check for a bad/corrosive connection of the plug at the compressor and then check the diode at the compressor. also try turning the compressor clutch by hand as if its seized can cause too much draw on the system.

2004 ford expolorer air conditioning will not stay on

I would suspect the AC compressor cycling switch (located in low pressure line from compressor) or a AC cutoff wide open throttle relay ( in under hood fuse and relay center) would be causing this problem.

open fuse panel under hood and check the AC Comp fuse. If it blows again you may need a new compressor

My air conditioning stopped blowing cold how do you put in freon

turn on the a/c and look under the hood. if the compressor clutch is not turning then it would be low on freon gas. also check the fuse and a/c relay to see if they are blown out.

The compressor did not even engage when I turned on the air conditioning. It is blowing out warm air. I checked all fuses but did not know about the diode under the hood buy the fuses. What could be the...

You could have possibly lost all the r134a refrigerant from the system, and with no a/c pressure, the pressure sensor will not allow the compressor to engage, or you could have a faulty a/c pressure transducer (pressure sensor). Check your refrigerant charge first. If it is properly charged, then your pressure sensor could be the problem.
