95 Jaguar XJ6 Cannot locate the Alarm/Keyless Receiver

I cannot find the key-less/alarm receiver on a 95 Jaguar xj6
I pretty much stripped my car this weekend trying to find it and no luck.
I was pretty sure I would find it in that space where the glove box is usually at but all I found were other ECU's. I disconnected them all one at a time and tested the alarm so I'd know for sure. I searched online for hours and came across one person that was looking for it too and someone said it was under the back windshield on the opposite side of the gas cap. It's not there of course :P

On both my 90 and 92, it is in the overhead lighting unit holding the sunroof switch and the overhead lights. There is a white round ball exposed on that unit and that is exposed and easy to see.

How to disable alarm on 95 jaguar xj6

Your Car is equipped with an Electronic Security System. If you disable it (which most probably you can not), you will bet on security of your car. If you still want to disable it, you should contact your Dealer or Authorized Service Station with Purchase Bill. If possible, they'll change locking system to old one.

1995 jaguar xj6 vehicle security system has gone off twice for no apparent reason. Also, heat working, air conditioner not. Need advice.

On another vehicle I have had, a slowly failing battery that would have its charge fall below 12 volts when parked overnight, would cause the alarm to go off. The alarm sensor would read that some kind of electric signal was drawing current, as if the door was open and no alarm release signal was received, so the alarm would go off in the middle of night as if a break in occurred.
