remove the top cover that says 2.4 L on it, the spark plugs are underneath. Like me, you'll feel like an idiot for not knowing.

SOURCE: spark plugs

You probably have a 2.4 ltr? If so , then you have to remove the head cover that covers the head and spark plugs. locate the aluminum cover ontop of the engine that is held down with 4 bolts that have a molded rubber insulator/washer under them. The cover is aprox. 18" long. They should be 13mm bolts. Unplug the connector at the drivers side end of the cover assy.-remove the connector release lock if needed. Lift and remove the cover to expose the plugs and the short/stubby plug wires. Yes those boots are plug wires. Now remove the boots if they didn't stay on the cover when you removed it. Just snap the boots back onto the cover before reinstalling the cover. It's not a bad job but do it when the engine is cold so the plugs come out with out taking the threads with them.
good luck - scott

SOURCE: "why isn't gas getting to my spark plugs in my 1998 Pontiac grand

Either the fuel pump is shot, fuel pump relay is bad, or fuel filter needs to be changed. A fuel pressure test would be a good place to start. Also changing the fuel filter is cheap and good routine maintenance anyway.

If it's the 4 cylinder pull the 4 bolts out of the engine top cover
and disconnect the connector on the drivers side, pull it straight
up,the plugs are under there. Make sure the engine is cold to prevent

Were is the spark plugs located in a 2002 pontiac grand am

2002 Pontiac Grand Am 2.2L MFI DOHC 4cyl

The spark plugs on this engine are located under the ignition coil and module assembly. To gain access to the spark plugs, the coil and module assembly must be removed. On the 2.4L (VIN T) engines, the spark plugs are platinum and require replacement every 100,000 miles (160,900 km) or 60 months which ever comes first.

Fig. To remove the cover, unfasten the four bolts, then pull the assembly straight up from the engine
