I apologize if this is insulting but heated mirrors were an option in this model and unless you specified a heated mirror when obtaining the replacement part then you may have a mirror that eventhough the plugs (connections) fit, it doesnt ahve a heating element to warm the mirror itself. Do you on the glass surface of the mirror have a box with waves coming out of top of it or some resemblance of such. This indicates heat and thus the presence of a heated mirror assembly. Otherwise you will need to check your invoice if you purchased from a parts provider. If you obtained from a used parts location (junk yard) you may have gotten a cosmetic similar model that doesnt have all the functionality of your previous mirror.

SOURCE: need to replace driver side

its pretty simple. take the inside inspection plate off, dont break tabs, unplug the electric connector, take out the 3 screws and mirror comes off. replace in reverse order. Its easier if you roll down window.

SOURCE: replace driver side power mirror on 2003 ford crew...

Muth makes the signal mirrors for repalcing the glass in the mirror head. On the site, they have nice instructions you can use for removing the door panel, and getting the mirror off ( obviously stop at the removing the glass part, and just replace with the mirror head you already have ).

Enter the Make, MY, and model you have, and on the products page are the links to the PDF version of the instructions for download.

To start with, the connectors are going to be different. It seems to me that it would be a lot easier and less aggravating to replace the mirror with a mirror that is equipped the same as the factory mirror.
Anyway, to answer the question that you asked...the heater circuits to the heated mirror are PINK at PIN "B" of the electrical connector (this is power/B+ wire) and GREY at PIN "G" (this is the heater control/ground wire).

2003 Suburban---Heated leather seat problem

there may be a software issue, there is a reprogram for seat heater issues. Bulletin 05-08-50-008 may pertain to that, a AC DELCO Shop or the dealer can ck that and see if this bulletin applies.

Chances are pretty slim that the denali mirror is going to match up to your suburban. They may look the same but depending on what mirror options your vehicle came with the wiring is going to be much different.

Driver Heated Seat 03 Suburban

The most likely failure point is the driver heated seat elements. They probably have excessive resistance and once they warm up a little they short out the module and it defaults to not working. I would recommend replacing both upper and lower driver seat elements.
