My car will sometimes start and I can drive it all day, but when I turn it off, it wilil not start until the next morning if then. Seemingly, there is something that does not work when it is hot. What can this problem be?

The same thing happens to me whenever it's cold outside. Once I get it to start it runs fine, like yours, but the next day it won't turn on. I'm not an expert, but maybe it's the battery that's having problems for us. It could probably help if we both found an auto parts store to get a new one at. They might even be able to help. http://www.centralwholesalewreckers.com....

Before doing any mechanical repairs, you need to have the battery charged and load tested. Also have a starter draw test done with the engine hot. Otherwise any further testing will be invalid.
Thare are two different kinds of no-start. The first is when you turn the key and the engine fails to turn, turns very slowly, or you just get a clicking noise. Any of those symptoms point to a discharged, bad or poorly connected battery. If the engine turns but does not start, then you are looking for a bad sensor, ignition coil or bad connection somewhere in the ignition system. (most common are heat sensitive items such as the crank position sensor, ignition coil or sometimes the cam sensor.)
Most larger parts stores will do a free computer scan which can point you in the right direction when diagnosing those items.
There are many system and individual component tests you can do using a digital volt/ohmmeter and a haynes or chilton manual as a guide. No good tech will ever give you a definite diagnosis without doing any testing I can't do that either. What I've given you is a good logical starting point to work from before you start buying parts and just hoping it will work.
Do what I said and it will bring you closer to a solution.
good luck!!

Check the harmonic balancer. the alternator pully will slip when it is bad. the belt wont turn fast enought to recharge the battery. you can check it with the car running. reach over and speed up the throttle by hand and watch to see if the belt speed picks up if not the balancer is bad.

This makes sense because a lot of times, something is causing the battery to discharge after trying to start the car and in a short time. I had the battery checked, it was ok. This makes a lot of sense. Also. I hear a squealing noise coming from around the alternator area and I just thought it was the water pump. Thanks

It also seems like the car is not getting any gas, but when it starts, it runs just fine until I turn it off. So I am doubting it is the fuel pump. Sometimes I can boost the battery and it will start. Something pulls the battery down alos when I try to start it. Any more suggestions?

Your symptoms would fit a bad alternator or loose belt.
You need to put a volt meter across the battery, and see that it goes from 12.5 to over 13.5 when you rev it up.
You also need to make sure the terminals are shiny and greased, the engine ground strap is on, etc.

Motor turns over normally when i turn the key but will not catch and run

When this happens have a can of spray starting fluid on hand, spray it into the engine air intake, if the engine starts you may have a failing electric fuel pump
