A/c has a very strong vinigar smell er sprayed air

A/c has a very strong vinigar smell dealer sprayed air freshner said it would take care of prob smell, this is second time in for prob. Still smells. Rear end has a thumping sound,sounds like slack in gearing of rear end dealer says they all do it. 2005 jeep g-cherokee 4.7lt. 54000 miles.

Sounds to me like an inspection of the fuel lines and fuel tank need to be done. It could need replacement fuel lines depending on how many miles you have on the vehicle

Under the hood, passenger side. at the fire wall you will find a small cover 2" x8" approx. This is where they hide the cabin air filter.

Mold smell coming from air ducts while air ducts are blowing. What can be done about this?
you can buy a can of freshner for automotive use at a supply shop, you spray it into the air intake under the hood and it works for a good six months

Getting a cigarette smell coming out of the air vents. Just bought the car and didn't notice a smell before.
getting rid of cigarette smell is nigh on impossible,without taking down the whole dash/heater matrix/a/c system.and steam cleaning the whole thing.you could try an aerosol spray(from a dealer)that you spray into the outside air vent,but that only maskes it,unless it is very strong.(the nicotine sticks to everything)smoking should be banned in cars......same as cellphones.....

2005 Chevy Cavalier...Strong Gas Smell..
a clogged air filter can cause this, ....slightly more fuel neede to compensate for lack of air, hence the smell of fuel

When I turn on the AC a moggy smell blows out of the vents. However, if I turn the AC off but leave the fan blowing air through the vents the smell go away a little. What could be causing this problem?...
mould in evaporator case?
some vehicles have a pollen filter(air conditioning air intake filter)not sure if your vehicle has but check if it has, may need replacing.
check plenum chamber(area under front windscreen)for leaves and debris.
then can try and spray mould killing pressure can(glen 20)air freshner in through intake air places under front windscreen with windows down air cond on full fan speed on fresh air while engine running or not depending on how long and how bad smell is.
may also pay to check for blocked air cond. drain tube, is it dripping water when running?
service centres or hire places have also got fragrance and mould killing machines you can use inside vehicle under similar conditions as above(ozoneator)

My Power front windows with "auto" function on jeep grand cherokee work intermittently SOLVED - cleaned the tracks - this was not the problem - check the buttons - they were good - replaced the motor - this solved the problem. (you press, they raise/lower themselves for 10cm and then they stop. you press again, 10 more centimers, they stop again). This happens to both front windows - left and right - when operated from both buttons - left and right. Back windows (with no "auto" function) work properly. How to diagnose this problem? (I'm not sure they have "auto" function, how can I check? (I have bought the car used, in this condition)
