Where is the free help??/

Constant vibration in the front end was caused by the axles. they were replaced and fixed the problem. Now I have a lot of vibration after the car warms up and its worst at about 45-55 Mph. It is not always there but it is becoming more present with time. axels were rechecked and are good. the steering wheel does not have vibration when this occurs

The problem is being fixed by replacing the motor mounts. One broken and 1 torn.

Did not mean to be harsh but I did not experience any gas peddal problem. The front large round motor mount was replaced in dec of 2009. At that time I was told i should really replace all of them because of the added stress on them I did not listen. I do appreciate the help
    Thank you

If you are sure the suspension is good and that the axles are NOT the problem then this leads to 2 things. Weak struts / shocks and possibly unbalanced tires.
Beings that your not feeling it in the steering wheel I would assume the problem lies in one of the rear wheels. If you at one time used a product like flat fixer and it is not evenly distrubuted inside the tire you will experience vibration.

Have all of your tires balanced and if you sitll have the issues with vibration at speed then you need to start looking at shocks and struts as the source of the problem.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Appreciate the feedback. Odd that when you passed another vehicle in traffic while mashing the accelerator that the accelerator did not move on it's own away from your foot which is common with bad motor mounts. I will refrain from answeting "Free help" comments in the future as the corresponding as the harsh ratings are tough to deal with. Taking this one on the chin and moving on. Just glad you finally were able to resolve the problem.

Front end rotation noise

It should have been thoroughly checked. Noises like these on four wheel drives could several different things. A bearing, CV axle, or the differential, or bearings in the differential. A wheel bearing will make different sounds when making a turn. A CV axle is a constant sound. Differential bearings can come and go, depending on if it is a bearing for the axle or a pinion bearing. Axle side bearings usually make a constant noise. The differential can also come and go. Depends on acceleration or slowing down. All these sounds are also with a vibration. Slight to harsh.

Front end vibration

First check the easy things, tie rod ends, ball joints, etc.I did all of this on my 2001 Aurora with 150K miles on it and still had vibration. The fix was to replace the half-axles. The old ones were worn and had a lot of play in them. I would get vibration as the speed increased. The parts cost me about $60.00/ea. I installed them by removing the bolts on the front struts, the axle nut, tie rod end, and brake caliper. You need to get enough room to remove and install the axle without putting too much bend in it. Over flexing the shaft can damage it.

Hi,
Have you ever replaced the shocks / struts? Are you sure your tire does'nt have a bump spot or out of round? I usually will swap the tires front to back to see if the vibration or bumping moves, good way to tell if the tire is bad. I've gotten some pretty poor tires before, some do have factory flaws that will cause that. Shocks will cause that also. Sway bar pins / joints that are worn can cause that also.

Vibration in right front at high speed.have greese on hood in engine comparment on right side

Hi:
You should have your right drive axle inspected, especially the rubber CV joint boot. if it is split open , it is the most likely cause of the grease you found. Unfortunately, the damage to it is already done, and that is what the vibrations are most likely caused by a worn out CV joint. To fix or repair it, you need to replace the cv joint or drive axle assembly

Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.

Front end vibration

this is most often caused by worn out drive axle constant velocity joints or CV joints as we tech's call them, have them checked for torn boots or excessive wear, I am sure one or both will be found.

2002 Neon front end passenger wheel clicks when turning right

Replace the CV axles. I say replace both of the axles because if one is going out, the other one is right behind it. This should get rid of your clicking sound/vibration.

Front end vibration

It sounds as though your car has two seperate problems. The first problem with the vibration that goes away when you let off the gas pedal is caused by a bad INNER CV joint. It only vibrates when you are accelerating because that is when the joint is under stress. Your vehicle has two axles, each with an inner and an outer joint. My suggestion is to have a competent shop determine which is the bad side and replace the entire axle. The second vibration which occurs at any speed is most likely cause by either a bad tire, or a bent rim.
