If it's like my 1997 Cadillac Deville, it has a bliue cap on the valve on the accumulator. This is a good spot to charge the a/c system with r134a.

Low-refrig ac off message is on

Does the AC system show normal pressure readings and maintains at least 28-32 PSI on the low side charging port?

Hi! My 1999 Cadillac Deville for about 2 weeks started messaging low refrig-ac-off. Check engine light on!.

When you change your oil is up to you,you set the
months & miles you go. Any car with a reminder
for oil is just a gadget

You were told that your low on a/c refrigerant by the
message

Now the check light related or not has to be addressed,
by checking for codes & diagnosing the effected system

Your a/c system needs repair, not added to, only to leak out
& polute the atmosphere

WHERE IS THE ACCUMULATER JUMPER LOCATED ON 2001 DEVILLE

"Accumulator jumper"??? If you are refering to the "old school" low pressure A/C switches that used to be located on the A/C accumulator, you will not find one on your 2001 Cadillac DeVille. They no longer use pressure "switches" they now use pressure "sensors". They work completely different from the older systems because they are computer controlled. Trying to "jump" them in an attempt to get the compressor clutch to engage can cause some serious computer system damage.

If your A/C compressor will not engage, you can check the system pressure with a conventional set of A/C gauges that have fittings for an R-134-A system. Other than that, you must have a scan tool that is capable of two-way communication with the HVAC and Engine Control (ECM or PCM) computers to properly diagnose the system.

My 98 cadillac deville is saying low refrig/AC off why and what can i do.

In all probability because the air conditioning refrigerant is low !!. Take it to an a/c shop, have them check the pressure on the refrigerant, and have it brought back to spec. pressure. It is advisable to check for leaks around the system in order to detect what caused the gas loss in the first place.

2001 cadillac deville ac compressor not coming on

Try adding some refrigerant as it won't come on as a safety feature if it is too low in pressure.

Otherwise, it may be an electrical break in the clutch wires, or a bad fuse.

If it is like my 1990 Cadillac Deville, the a/c compressor will not come on at all until the battery is disconnected for several minutes and reconnected, and then charged with at least .5 lbs. of refrigerant.

I have a 1996 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. This spring...

If the a/c does not engage as a result of the electronic control system in your 1996 Cadillac, the climate control system may need to be replaced.

However, if the problem is being caused by low charge of R134a in the system, have the system charged before changing that electronic part.

I have never seen a Cadillac Climate Control System do this, which leads me to believe that it may be more electronic than refrigerant pressure related.

If the refrigerant pressure was low in the system, the climate control system should still stay on 'auto' mode, I think, and simply blow warm air.

How do i put A/c coolant into a cadillac deville 1999. I dont have the owners manual and it needs some A/c fluid.

There is no such thing as an ac coolant, maybe the ac refrigerant you are refering to. The ac is not getting cold? You can buy a can of 134 that has its own charging hose and gauge. Find the low side line of the ac. Start the car first turn on your ac then connect the hose and charge it. It is very simple, now the gauge will show you how much you have in there already, and don't overcharge it.
