The 328i has a washer reservoir grommet where the pump fits into the reservoir tank. When either the grommet gets old and dries out then it can leak at the joint of the motor and tank. Also if the washer motor is running hot (short ) then it can cause the plastic casing around the small electric motor to crack. This can cause a warp at joint and also cause a leak. Good news is that both parts are available at partsgeek.com and are relatively inexpensive (<$100) and its easy to do yourself.
Hi Friend: Check your Window Washer Canister 1st.If its Not Leaking You'll Need to Check ALL your Hoses From The Washer Canister to the 2 Spray Nozzles . And also to Your Washere Pump.Or its Posible your Washer Pump its Self has Developed a Leak.More Than likely its a Hose thats Old and Cracked, Just Follow ALL Hoses from The Washer with your Hand and Eyes.Have Someone Get into the Vehicle After You Fill your Washer Resevoir and Have the Turn your Washer On To See if It Reveals your Leak,Hope this Helps You, Please Let Me Know.If its your Canister or Hoses there Not Expensive To Replace.
