Ignition coil on 2003 buick rendezvous how to replace

Your vehicle has three coils. They each have two plug wires that need to be removed and then there are two screws holding each of them on.

They are normally replaced individually as needed though, and not as part of a tune-up.

I have a 2003 ford mustang has no spark i replaced the ignition coil but still no spark,i think it has a bad pcm

does the "check engine " light come on with key on. It should. now try to start car, it should go off. If it does not go off, check the Crank Position Sensor. A bad CMP (Crank Position Sensor) will cause no spark.

What is the spark plug setting for izuzu axiom 3.5 v6 my car is hard starting at 152000 miles, i replaced the timing belt flushed the injectors replaced fuel filter

Hi. You will need to Adjust each spark plug gap to 0.031-0.035 in. (0.8-0.9mm). With that said; i would check the status of all the ignition coils that are on top of each plug. Your engine is equipped with a COP coil design. Each plug will have its own individual coil on top. Each coil can be tested for proper resistance levels. You may have one or several bad coils that are malfunctioning. If these coils have not been changed, I would recommend to test each one to be sure that they are functioning at a high level.

Here is a simple testing procedure to verify that your coils are functioning as designed. A weak coil will cause a very hard start situation. Follow carefully:

1.First you will need to check the ignition coil assembly for insulation. Check terminals for corrosion or damage, and replace as necessary.

2. Next; Gather you ohmmeter or multimeter and measure the resistance of ignition coil assemblies and compare with the following specifications:

a. Terminal 1 to 2: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.

b. Terminal 1 to 3: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.

c. Terminal 2 to 3: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.

3. Now; If the measured values exceed the specifications listed above, the ignition coil must be replaced.

I wanted to know the steps! I last changed plugs on my 1995 4-runner. The armada looks like it has an electronic system attached to the plugs!

That is individual coil for each spark plug. Unscrew the coil before you pul it off from the plug. Just replace spark plug as normal then put back the coil plug. Repeat this for each spark plug. It is a simple task but it takes some time to complete. Have fun.

I have 1985 ford mustang 5.0 how can Iget spark to the coil

If there is no spark to the coil thenit has t be in your ignition box. Most likely on the passenger side undeer the hood. If no spark through te coil then you need a new coil. Or it could be as simple as a ground wire undone.
