Does anyone know how or where I can get a copy of the Customer Satifaction Program 09B10 Letter? My son has had his 2008 Escape in the shop once already for this, in April, and now he is still having a problem. Both of us had copies of the letter, but have either discarded or misplaced it. Has anyone else had a problem with this reoccuring after it has been "fixed" once already?

You may have a transmission failure due to inadequate lube flow. This can happen during warm up and cold weather. Your transmission probably needs rebuilt or replaced and then install a transmission fluid cooler bypass kit.
I have Ford Escape 2008. When I drive, the care will not pull, especially on a small hill climbing. When accelerated, it produced a racking sound. what is the Problem
The fill plug will be on the side of the transmission. You fill until the oil starts to come out of this plug, then quickly refit the plug. This will be then the correct level.
It is a recall. The number is 09b10. If there is no rubber grommet on the right side condenser bolt, a new bracket is to be installed. Have the dealer run your vin it should come up on oasis print out. Good luck.
Hello!
it is very unfortunate your situation. it is **** service departments staffed with incompetence. i have made a 20 year career out of the automotive industry, the last 16 with dealerships. i pride myself in customer service and frown on all of the hacks that are out there ruining a good name. Yes fors has had issues with the "combo cooler" it is a condenser for the airconditioning and cooler for the tranmsision. when repairs are performed @ the dealership, it carries a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty when they use oem parts. you stated it has been 2 coolers in 13 months? the warranry is based off of the original installation. not each addition failure should they occur. now that this is understood. your dealership has the ability to utilize their "CLP" budget to satisfy your needs. this is caled a P18. CLP stands for customer loyalty program. it is a tool that dealerships can use to help people in situations like yours. HOVEVER there are 2 questions they ask on the form to be submitted..is the customer a maintenance customer of the ford dealership and do they have an extended warranty. if the answer is no to either question....welll..you get the point. i do beleive they should assist you by maybe discounting the parts and labor in the interest of your return visits. as i tyoe this long drawn out letter, i wonder if the canadian warranties are different or for that matter if you have the complimentary powertrain warranty that comes with fords sold in USA it is a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty. if the advisor looks up coverage by using fords computer system and inputs the true part number of condenser...it would say not covered....but the failure is actually the transmision cooler..which if was seperate from the condenser, would have a different part number...that part number may come up as a covered repair...hmmmm...i will check this for you tomorrow @ work and get back to you
