The easy way is remove the radio from the dash leave plugged in remove the anttenna wire from the radio stick a small screwdriver in the anttenna socket and see if the recpetion is better you may have to hold the screwdriver with your hand to be a better antenna if so thier is something wrong with your antenna coax or antenna if not doesnt help then the radio is bad internally

97 mitsubishi bad radio reception

It sounds like you are just in a weak reception area. If you feel this is not the case first try replacing the entire antenna assembly, it would be the primary cause of this type of problem.

I took a radio from one 2000 sunfire and put it in another. The LOC is on and will not work. How do I reset the code?

You need the code for the radio first off and i hope you have it. If you do, I gave you the procedure for the 1999 sunfire but am 99 percent sure it's the same as the 2000. I hope it is and I hope you have the code. I hope this helps and good luck.
