Unfortunately there is not one on these cars. The tank must be dropped. If you need instructions, let me know.

Access panel in the trunk for fuel pump on 2005 impala?

Not sure if there is one. My '05 Buick Century does not have an access panel. Pull back the carpet in the trunk and look for a round or oval panel with screws. It would be right over the top of the fuel tank, right over where the pump module sits in the tank-where the fuel lines come out of the tank-that is where the module is.
If there is no access panel, it is a bit harder to change out the pump. You have to remove the gas tank, and pull it from under the vehicle. It was not that difficult on my Century-I did it on my driveway. Look at a repair manual for the complete procedure.

Trying to determine how to access the fuel pump in 2004 Jetta to replace it. Do you have to drop the tank or is there access through the vehicle elsewhere? I am unable to locate this information, other...

The pumps are installed inside your fuel tank; since liquid fuel cannot blow up, this is the best location for installation. In order to replace it you must drop the tank and get at the pump from the top. I would check fuse #28, which is the fuse to the fuel pump relay before pulling the pump. Otherwise, you would be wise to consider the amount of work involved in dropping the tank. It requires removing the bolts from the straps, pulling the fuel lines, removing the gas inlet, removing the connectors and then you get to the pump. Let me know if you want to go this route and I will do my best to give you step by step direction to remove the pump.

How do i change the fuel pump on a 1994 mitsubishi galant?

there should be an access panel either underneith the rear seat or in the trunk that should give access to the pump it self but before u start rippin and tearin u need to relive the fuel system of pressure what u can do is pull the fuel pump relay start the car and let it run out of fuel. the relay is prob in the fuse panel on the drivers side. dont quote me on that though. make sure u replace the fuel strainer in the tank and the fuel filter in line to the engine and put the new unit in reverse of dissasembly.

Fuel pump access panel..

you do have to drop the tank, it is not that hard of a process, once you have it down, there will be a ring that you will need to turn, it will loosen the fuel pump, undo the wires and replace. Be carefull when you pull out the pump it will have the float attached that goes to the fuel gauge.
