There are times that the care will shut off while driving, or not start at all. Usually not ten minutes later it will start right up again. It's hit or miss. I've taken it to three mechanics and they've all run diagnostics on it and found no problems. What am I dealing with here?

My car wont start

sounds like security shut down which will start run for second then shut down after several time the security will shut down completely.......you can try what is called the relearn proceedure..this is what you dealer will do...might have to put battery charger on car first... then put key in ignition and turn to the run position do not crank leave it in the on position for ten minutes...... then turn key to the off position then back to the run position again for another ten minutes.....for the last time turn key off then back to run for the last ten minute cycle.... after the final ten minutes is up turn key to off position then attempt to start... let me know

you have a bad horn pad. most likly due to higher temps this time of year, for now you can pull the fuse or relay.

Truck stalls while driving, will start again if wait ten minutes

if it is a flex fuel vehicle, it most likely is the flex fuel sensor and/ or connector- it's located on the driver's framerail just behind the door.hope this helps and good luck

Vehicle shuts down while driving

have u had the crankshaft position sensor replaced?, this is the most common cause of this issue.
