Fucs keeps blowing out on 1977 blazer

It depends what the fuse is powering and how or what your doing when it blows. Does just a few things stop when the fuse is blown. Say brake lights and turning signals for example. Then try to figure out how to disconnect part of whats a load on that fuse. Say unplug or remove half the load. If the fuse still blows then you can determine that whatever is off, is not the problem, and whatever you left connected is. Slow process of elimination. IF your blowing a main fuse thats powering other fuses then use the fuse block itself to troubleshoot with. But thats harder because the small fuse will likely have blown first. IF a main fuse is feeding smaller fuses, pull all the smaller fuses, replace the main, and then install the smaller ones one at a time until it blows again. Whatever just blew the fuse is the short. IT's probably better to use an volt/ohm meter and measure the resistants to ground. Low resistants is the short. First remove the fuse,, power up the circuit, Carefully measure the voltage to ground. The side of the fuse that has voltage is the source or battery. The opposite side is the load. Now remove power, measure the load side to ground. Look for low resistants. Remove or disconnect bulbs or what ever the load is. When the resistants jumps up or high, then you found your short.

I have a fuse problem on my 1995 Volvo 960. Fuse #8 which controls the Power seat, Power door mirrors, Rheostat, Instrument lights and Ambient temperature sensor, blows out as soon as installed. This is...

One or more of the remaining connections must have a hot wire shorted to the body somewhere. You are going to have to isolate each individual unit and test the hot wire with a multimeter. If the fuse is out of the fuse block touching one probe of the meter (set to ohms) to the wire and the other probe to the body should not give a reading. The wire which does give a reading is the one with the short and must be traced to find the bad spot needing repair or replacement.

Maybe you problem is with the switch, or check if power seat circuit has the regular fuse or rather one of those thermal ones.

How do you replace the power seat circuit breaker on a 1996 nissan maxima?

There is a fuse box located under the dash on the right or left hand drivers side. Sometimes they even stick them in the glove box. Once you find the fuse box then on the cover or underneath the cover should be a diagram of the fuses installed and what they go to. For instance, your seats might say just that SEATS If not then just pull one fuse at a time and replace it in the same spot if good. You can tell if the fuse is bad by looking at the wire inside the fuse. It should be a solid one piece wire. if you see that it has a break or blck or melting then replace it with same amp fuse. the amps are on the fuse. Some times when a fuse blows it takes more then one with it. Go ahead and check them all to be sure.
Once done replace the cover. Please remember to give me a thumbs up for trying at my end. if you found no bad fuses then we can look into the seat moving switch. Keep me informed, Raz

2006 tahoe with heated seats. when the seat is

The heating element in the seat may be failing, even thogh it heats the seat, the element could be causing the circut to spike upon power shut down. Relay takes mili-second to shut down after ignition kill and power feed comes direct from battery. Check amp. draw at switch of bad seat and good seat upon shut down. If bad seat higher that 5 amp difference element n/g. Also check for bad relay as they can short internal and cause problems if primary power cut before switch shut down.
