What relay ? You may have the wire from the key switch on the wrong terminal. If the car has an anti-theft system the key lock may not be reading the chip in the key. Can you jumper the starter solenoid and make the starter work ?
the starter is located under the plastic intake manifold. you must take off top cover then you can get to fuel rail and intake. be careful not to bend or pull to ******* fuel rail when trying to lift up intake.
Do you see a light that says SECURITY on the dash somewhere? This can turn off your starter and disable your car. Read about it on this link with options on how to fix it yourself.
The location of the starter is as per the car engine. If its 4.5 liter then starter is located on front bottom of the engine. And if its 4.6 liter engine then starter is located under the intake manifold. And On the 4.9 liter the starter is located on the bottom side of the engine. ------------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
