I have a 2002 buick rendevous, I start my suv and the abs light and the awd disable light comes on,and also the red emergency light just started to come one while your driving and it beeping. sometimes i start the suv the lights are out, then you put the brakes on they pulse like the abs is kicking in then the abs and awd lights come on and pulsing of brakes stops.

First thing to do, retrieve trouble codes and if the same wheel sensor is indicated and it has been replaced already, chances are the wiring or module are defective. electrical diagnosis has to be performed.
CHECK ABS FUSE AND RELAY.THE AWD CONTROLED BY SPEED SENSORS ONE IN THE FRONT OUT PUT SHAFT SECOND SPEED SENSOR IN THE REAR OUT PUT SHAFT THIRD SPEED SENSOR IS VECHICLE SPEED SENSOR.BEST TO HAVE VECHICLE FIX AT A GARAGE OR DEALERSHIP YOU WILL NEED DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT TO WORK ON IT.
check the abs sensors their wiring and connections for damage or connection problems if good than need to have truck scanned most auto stores such as auto zone / advanced auto [check ur local area] offer this service for free the code will tell u what and where ur problem is so u can make repair ur abs sensors are tied into the awd system
this is a dealership fix.but FIRST check fuse to AWD.if all is good problem could be in transfer case shift control module or problem could be in speed sensors or shift motor.the dealership has diagnostic equipment to check it out and fix it.
3rd dealer stated that the problem was in the differential pump valve, when the temperture sensor was giving a false reading and disconnecting the rear wheel drive. Replaced with GM Part 88896067, and it solved the problem. Mechanic stated that if it is ONLY the AWD light, then this is usually the problem. If the ABS Disable light also goes on, then it is the harness on the wheel sensor.
