Re: Loud noise when driving on the interstate, so loud...
Where is the noise coming from? If it is coming from your wheels then it would be your wheel bearings. They can get so loud that you cant hear a thing inside your car due to vibration.

Have the rear end checked, could be something serious. If it is rear wheel drive could be your half shafts wearing. Is it clonking? what kind of noise is it? The type of noise can be revealing/helpful if you can describe it. Please add and resubmit
This may sound radical, but while driving on an open road with no traffic, put the car in neutral and turn the motor off. If the sound goes away, the problem is in the motor or trans. If the problem persists, its probably a wheel bearing or something stuck in your wheel. Car will restart in neutral, and just drop it back into drive.
you did damage to the wheel bearing i bet it sounds like a airplane sound. also if you steering wheel is off 7"then have front end aligned because this will destroy the tires and they will make noise.
Try jacking your vehicle up and turning the tires. listen for any odd noise like a grinding sound, wheels hubs have been known to make a grinding noise when they go bad.
