When driving my 96 jeep cherokee will shut down and it takes several mins for it to start back then it will do the same thing again what can it be

Crank shaft sensor, as soon as car warms up, it will skip (engine stutter(, then when engine cools, so does crank shaft sensor. Good Luck

96 jeep cherokee, inline 6 4.0... runs fine... after shut off (5-10 mins) acts like its chokeing out, wont start acts like its missing, no combustion (fuel injected) let sit for 20 mins, fires up fine......

Try the pick-up coil that is under the distributer cap.Remove the cap and rotor button then remove the plate that is under the rotor button.Next you need to take off the relucter wheel that is in the way so you can take out the bolts and remove the pick-up coil.

Vehicle won't restart after driving for a while

You said it's runs fine, but it just won't start after driving a while. If thermostat or temp sensor was bad you'd be overheating. It sounds like a vapor lock. Good luck
