My camaro has a rough idle and accelerates with a great amount of hesitation. I have checked the sparks plugs replaced fuel filter and have ran injector cleaner through the fuel system...what could the problem be?
I'm having the same problem with mine. Replaced plugs and wires idles better but hesitates when I push the gas oh yea and the fuel filter . CHECK FUEL PRESSURE MUST BE 3.0 BARS AND MUST NOT DROP UNDER 2 .0 BARS AFTER 10 MINUTES.LET ME KNOW IF U NEED MORE INFO AND TELL ME THE RESULTS OF THE ABOVE.
ALUMINUM V8 CAMAROS HAVE 3 PROBLEMS
1 VACCUUM LEAKS ie HOSE TO THE pcv deteriorates
2 MASS AIR FLOW / hard to diagnos sometimes
3 COLLANT temp sensor, ie starts fine cold, crappy when warm
i recommend checking out your plugs and wires. If you take out any of the spark plugs look at their condition and compare them to each other if there is one darker or wetter than the others that is the one that is misfiring causing the vibration and difficulty in starting.
